Flag of AABF - Image by M. Schmöger, 22 February 2015

The AABF unites the Alevis living in Germany; Alevism is the second-largest islamic denomination in Turkey, and due to Turkish immigration also in Germany.
The symbol of the AABF is a green seal-like emblem with twelve points, charged with a red circle containing a stylized white bird and the red inscription "AABF". The flag is white with the symbol and the full name of the organization in Turkish and German (own observations and photos during the 1 May demonstration in Munich, 2014; photo).

Flag of EÖC, two versions - Images by M. Schmöger, 21 February 2015

EÖC (website) is a labour and/or trade union organization with political influence. The background of the organization goes back as far as the events that took place in the country during the National Democratic Revolution of the mid 1960s, in part influenced by the The trade union acts of 1964, which granted the right of workers to collective bargaining and strike, and revolutionary and Socialist movements gained momentum on the political arena.

Esteban Rivera, 22 February 2015

The flag of EÖC is red with a yellow-fimbriated star combined with the abbreviation "EÖC", in base the full name, all in yellow; along the hoist a yellow stripe (own observations and photos during the 1 May demonstration in Munich, 2014: photo, photo, photo). In a version of the flag the stripe at the hoist is yellow-black (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo).

Flag of DIDF, two versions - Images by M. Schmöger, 21 February 2015

The DIDF (Demokratik Işçi Dernekleri Federasyonu) is a leftist federation of Turkish associations, mainly active in Germany, founded in 1980. It is rather conspicuous during demonstrations in Munich, so I had many occasions for seeing the flag.

The symbol of the DIDF is a yellow roundish area with two heads (one black-haired, one yellow-haired) and clasping hands, obviously symbolizing cooperation between (somewhat stereotypical) Germans and Turkish immigrants. The earlier version added the inscription "Wir sind Gemeinsam stark" (We are strong Together) in the center of the symbol (photo, photo, photo; own observations and photos during the 1 May demonstration in Munich, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014; own observations and photos during the demonstration in Munich against PEGIDA/BAGIDA, 12 January 2015, 19 January 2015; own observations and photos during the demonstration in Munich against the Munich Security Conference, 7 February 2015), a later version had the modified inscription "Gemeinsam sind wir stark" (Together we are strong) surrounding the symbol (plus the inscription "DIDF" in the center of the symbol (photo, photo; own observations and photos during the 1 May demonstration in Munich, 2013; own observations and photos during the demonstration in Munichagainst PEGIDA/BAGIDA, 12 January 2015, 19 January 2015, 26 January 2015; own observations and photos during the demonstration in Munich against the Munich Security Conference, 7 February 2015.
The flags in their two versions show the respective symbol on a red field.

Flag of DIDF-Jugend, two versions - Images by M. Schmöger, 21 February 2015

DIDF-Jugend is the youth organization of the DIDF.
The symbol shows a young man with raised fist and a young woman with a megaphone, in addition to the inscription "DIDF-Jugend", mainly in black with yellow highlights.
The flag is red with the symbol (own observations and photos during the demonstrations in Munich against PEGIDA/BAGIDA, 22 December 2014, 12 January 2015, 19 January 2015; own observations and photos during the demonstration in Munich against the Munich Security Conference, 7 February 2015; photo). An earlier version of the flag was red, with a young woman and a young man, both with raised fist, in addition to the inscription "DIDF-Jugend", all in black (own observations and photos during the demonstration in Munich, 1 May 2002; photo).

Turkish Revolutionary Youth Federation

Flag of DEV-GENÇ - Image by M. Schmöger, 21 February 2015

DEV-GENÇ was a Marxist-Leninist organisation that officially existed under this name from 1969 to 1971. However, several offshoots referring to it still exist today.
I observed (own observations and photos during the 1 May demonstration in Munich, 2014) a red flag with the abbreviation (in yellow), the German-language slogan "Gegen Faschismus, Imperialismus, die Oligarchie" (against fascism, imperialism, the oligarchy) (in black) and the old symbol, a youth with raised fist (black in a white rectangle).

Mahir Çayan portrait flag - Image by M. Schmöger, 21 February 2015

Mahir Çayan (1946-1972) was founder and leader of the People's Liberation Party-Front of Turkey (Türkiye Halk Kurtuluş Partisi - Cephesi). He was killed by action of the Turkish military.
He is still revered in the Turkish left as one of their martyrs and therefore can be seen on flags, for instance on a yellow flag in Berlin (own observations and photos during the 1 May demonstration in Berlin, 2005).
