Heraldry:
"The shield per fess by gules and vert. In it is an or
sheaf. The emblem adorned by or decorative cartouche and crowned
by an or rural crown. Sheaf is a symbol of fertility and
agriculture, and also a symbol of unity. Gules color symbolizes a
victory of cossacks - founders of village, and also courage of

Heraldry:
"In judicial documents at 1624 village was mentioned as own
possession of princess Mar'jana Korets'ka. In the same place it
is spoken, that princess "has besieged" natives from
Dymerka on an own lands. Ploske was designated on Boplan's map at
1662. The settlement at the river Ploska Ruda (Smolka) consisted
mainly of Hoholivs'ka squadron cossacks. The property on the
lands belonged to family Vyhovs'kyi and later to Frolivs'kyi
monastery."
