Description

Founded in 1940 as Aviation Enterprises; renamed Trans-Texas Airways in 1947; renamed Texas International Airlines in 1969; merged with Continental Airlines in 1982.

The flag of Trans-Texas Airways, obviously based on the state flag of Texas, was illustrated on at least one timetable and two route maps circa 1953-54.
