City seal

The website at www.queencreek.org shows a very unusual seal. A creek in white extends from the center of an inner circle southeastwards, crossing an outer circle as well and extending beyond it for some distance. There are three black rocks clearly visible in the stream, in the foreground. The inner circle is divided in half by a mountain range in white and black beneath a black sky. There is a white outer circle with the words 'TOWN OF QUEEN CREEK' in black at the top and 'ARIZONA' at the bottom. The overflow of the creek crosses the outer circle at the word 'ARIZONA', giving the effect of the letter Q. A very effective use of monochrome effect.
Ron Lahav, 28 April 2004

The Town of Queen Creek seal was selected shortly after the Town was incorporated as a municipality in 1993. The Seal was adopted in 1993 by a Town Council motion from among entries in a contest open to the public.

The mountains represent the San Tan Mountains on our southern boundary, which serve as a nature preserve and public park. The creek represents the Queen Creek (after which the Town is named) and Sonoqui Washes that pass through the town and which serve as the foundation of our community trails system. Together they form the letter Q which stands for the first letter in the name of our Town, Queen Creek.
