Description of the flag

The website at http://www.fh.az.gov/ shows a seal with a blue dodecahedral border. The outer ring is white, with the words 'Town of FOUNTAIN HILLS, Arizona' in black. At lower right and lower left respectively two small black dots, while at the very bottom of the outer ring are the words in black 'All that is Arizona'. The center of the seal is blue, black, and white. In the center foreground is a fountain in pale blue atop a white cone, with a pale blue plume of water rising from it. This plume bisects the center of the seal and extends slightly into the outer ring. At the top of the center portion is a large white desert moon, with two pale blue slivers of sky on either side. Beneath the moon and divided into two unequal parts by the plume of water from the fountain is a range of mountains in black. Beneath the fountain is a lined field, with alternating black and white stripes. At the bottom of the white cone supporting the fountain are the words 'EST. 1909' in black.

Fountain Hills is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona, USA. According to 2006 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 24,669. Fountain Hills was the eighth fastest-growing place among all cities and towns in Arizona between the 1990 and 2000 census. In contrast to neighboring Scottsdale, some homes in Fountain Hills are widely spaced, in a more rural setting. Fountain Hills is home to the world's fourth tallest fountain, and neighbors the Fort McDowell Indian Reservation. Charles W. Juels' Fountain Hills Observatory is situated nearby. The town also holds two annual fairs, a local art fair and the Fountain Hills Great Fair which incorporates arts and a carnival. The town also claims to have the only thanksgiving day parade west of the Mississippi River."

The town flag can be seen on a Waymarking website: www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM3CKY_Fountain_Hills_Arizona_USA. It is white with town seal on it.

This, now former, seal was adopted around the time of the incorporation of Fountain Hills in 1989. Fountain Hills adopted a new logo in 2023, however, it does not replace the seal, which I believe will continue to be on the flag.
