Possible flag

A contest for a city flag was started in January in 1986. This was after the forming of the Calexico Beautification Committee, headed by Isabel Aguilar. The contest was open to all students and residents of Calexico. The deadline of this contest was on February 28, 1986 at 5:00 pm. The prize for 1st place was $100, 2nd being $50, and finally 3rd receiving $25. No further information on this contest, meaning it is certainly possible no flag was adopted.
