I don't think Dickinson has a flag I was listening to the CC meeting of 7 Feb
2023. During a discussion about the recently adopted logo (starting at 34
minutes), the mayor stated that Dickinson does not have a flag. Suggestions were
made about how to create a flag, but I don't know if anything has happened
since.

The logo of Dickinson was adopted on January 24, 2023. It appears to simply
represent the earth.

In the early 1990s, the "Queen of the Prairie" logo is mentioned as being the Dickinson city flag (background not specified but probably white). It seems likely that the logo with a cowboy also became the flag afterwards.
According to the Dickinson Press, the previous logo was unveiled on August 1,
1994. It depicts a cowboy riding atop a bucking horse. The text below the horse
reads "THE WESTERN EDGE" or other times, "NORTH DAKOTA".
Recently before
this, a local artist designed a logo named the "Queen of the Prairie". The
council changed its mind on what image they wanted to portray to others about
Dickinson and took favor of the cowboy logo. This logo depicted a crown over a
rose and the city skyline.
