Description of the flag

The flag is a white field with a depiction of a mountainous scene with the standing stone in the center, which was first erected by Native Americans, though it was removed and then replaced by them, till that one was destroyed by pranksters, then the third and final one was erected in 1896. Under the stone is the year "1796", the year of the borough's incorporation. On either side are five golden maple leaves, which forms a sort of wreath. Above is a green bander with golden outlines, and the borough's name inscribed. At the bottom is a second banner with the phrase "In God we Trust".

The borough sent me a photo of the flag, but they don't have any information on the flag's adoption date, or who designed it.

Image on a postcard located on eBay. Flag divided 1:2, green and striped 13 red and white stripes. On green stripe by hoist, the coat of arms, 6 gold stars and 1767 above, HUNTINGDON and 7 gold stars below.
