Team Penske

Team Penske, formerly Penske Racing, is an American auto racing team that fields entries in NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series and Xfinity Series, as well as the IndyCar Series and Australia's V8 Supercars Series. The team has also previously competed in CART (Championship Auto Racing Teams, an American competitor to the IndyCar Series), American Le Mans Series, and Formula One, among other forms of auto racing, including endurance races. Team Penske is a division of Penske Corporation, owned by American billionaire businessman and former race car driver Roger Penske.

The Team Penske flag can be seen flying at NASCAR tracks. The flag features the team logo centered on a black field. The logo itself has the word "TEAM" in white, italicized, block capital letters above the word "PENSKE" in similar lettering, separated by a red horizontal line. I know this flag is used at NASCAR tracks for the NASCAR portion of the team, but I don't know if it's also used for the IndyCar side of Team Penske or the V8 Supercars part of the team.

Hendrick Motorsports is one of the premiere teams in NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series, currently fielding four cars. Owned by American multi-millionaire businessman and former race car driver Rick Hendrick, the team became one of the most successful in NASCAR in the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s by fielding cars for NASCAR superstars Jeff Gordon (4 Sprint Cup titles), Jimmie Johnson (6 Sprint Cup titles), and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (NASCAR Most Popular Driver 13 years running). In total, Hendrick Motorsportshas won nearly 300 NASCAR races since the team wasfounded in 1984.

The Hendrick Motorsports team flag features the organization's logo centered on a white field. The logo itself has the name of the team in italicized red letters, with "Hendrick" in larger letters above "MOTORSPORTS" in smaller, thinner letters. Below the name of the organization is a black and white checkered flag pattern with black lines extending toward the hoist, evoking the thought of speed.

Richard Childress Racing (RCR) is an American auto racing team based in Welcome, North Carolina, that currently fields eight cars - four in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and four in the NASCAR Xfinity (formerly Nationwide) Series. The team is owned by multi-millionaire businessman and former race car driver Richard Childress, and has fielded cars for NASCAR superstars Dale Earnhardt, Sr., Neil Bonnett, and Kevin Harvick. Since its founding in 1999, the team has won a total of 211 NASCAR races and 6 Winston Cup (now Sprint Cup) Championships, all with the late Dale Earnhardt as the driver of the No. 3 car.

The RCR flag flies outside the team's headquarters, and features the team logo centered on a white field. The logo consists of the team's acronym, "RCR," in italicized, red capital letters, preceded toward the hoist by a black and white checkered flag pattern, indicative of winning. There is also a black registered trademark symbol (®) following the logo, with the team name spelled out below in italicized black letters.

Richard Petty Motorsports

Richard Petty Motorsports (sometimes referred to as RPM) is a team that competes in stock car racing in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, fielding the No. 43 car. The team is majority-owned and operated by seven-time NASCAR Cup Champion, seven-time Daytona 500 winner, and NASCAR Hall of Famer Richard Petty. The current iteration of the team came into being in 2010 with the merger of three once-successful teams that had fallen on hard times, both financially and competitively: Petty Enterprises, Gillett Evernham Motorsports, and Robert Yates Racing. The original formation of Petty Enterprises was founded in 1949 by Richard's father and fellow NASCAR driver, Lee Petty. It was under the Petty Enterprises name that Richard won his championships, racing the now iconic No. 43 car bearing the signature "Petty blue" color and oval team logo design. With the merger and creation of Richard Petty Motorsports in 2009 and 2010, the team continues to use "Petty blue" on its cars and in its still oval-shaped logo.

The flag of Richard Petty Motorsports can be seen on race weekend's flying above the team's pit box and atop the team's race car hauler. The flag features the team's logo centered on a white field. The logo is oval-shaped with concentric ovals of "Petty blue," white, and red, with the name of the team in "Petty blue" within the ovals. The team name is in all-caps, with the word "PETTY" displayed approximately four times larger than "RICHARD" or "MOTORSPORTS."

Joe Gibbs Racing (sometimes referred to as "JGR") is a professional stock car racing team that competes in NASCAR's top-tier Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the second-tier Xfinity Series. In the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, the team fields the Nos. 11, 18, 19, and 20 Toyotas, while in the Xfinity Series they run the Nos. 18, 19, and 20 cars. The team is owned by Joe Gibbs, the former head coach of the NFL's Washington Redskins, and began operations from Huntersville, North Carolina, in 1992. JGR driver Denny Hamlin won the 2019 Daytona 500 in the No. 11 car on 17 February 2019, giving the team its third Daytona 500 title.

The flag of Joe Gibbs Racing can be seen on race weekends flying above the team's pit boxes and occasionally from atop the race car haulers, as well as in front of the team's headquarters. The flag features the team logo centered on a white field. The logo contains a flapping black-and-white checkered flag, Joe Gibbs' initials in burgundy letters representing his history with the Washington Redskins, and the team's name in black capital letters.
