Salisbury University is a public university located in the city of Salisbury, Maryland, founded in 1925. The university's sports teams are known as the Sea Gulls as the school's colors are maroon and gold. The university's flag features the name logo displayed in gold on a
maroon field, reflecting the school's colors. The dot above the lowercase "i" in Salisbury has been replaced by a stylized bird in flight, representing the school's sports teams, the Sea Gulls.

At 5:27 minutes on the video at www.youtube.com, you can see a variety of flags of various higher educational institutions around Maryland. Coppin State University flag appears (far left on this captured image) to be maroon with the name in gold - large serif letters for Salisbury above smaller italicized upper case gold serif letters for UNIVERSITY.
