From the Falcon Shipping webpage:
Falcon Shipping Co., a subsidiary of the Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines), is a state-owned company established under decision No. 638/QD/TCCB-LD dated 28 February 1995 by the Ministry of Transportation. Since the foundation of the company, we have been playing a leading role in transporting energy cargoes, especially crude oil. With a diversified fleet, we are also actively engaged in transporting gasoline, diesel oil, fuel oil, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), chemicals, reformate, condensate and general cargoes.
As explained on the site, Falcon’s fleet consists of tankers between 1,100 dwt and 71,000 dwt which, with the help of supplementary (chartered) vessels, serves to transport 30% of exported crude oil.
In addition, the firm is a shipping agency and broker, provides technical services (such as designing and manufacturing port equipment or testing), maintains a towing and salvage fleet, undertakes tanker cleaning, acts as freight forwarder, etc.
Seen as a drawing on the site, the house flag is green with a large white serif "F." It is also shown in the cloth in front of the head office, flanking the national flag on both sides.

Falcon Shipping Company seems to be the English (nick?)name of a company named Công Ty Vận Tải Dầu Khí Việt Nam (= Công Ty Vận Tải Dầu Khí Việt Nam), according to the website banner including the flag logo reported back in 2006 by Jan Martens, now available only in archive http://web.archive.org/web/20061025143856/http://www.falconship.com/images/index_m_1.gif.

The Falcon Shipping Company flag was recently replaced by a new banner in a revamped website http://www.falconship.com/wp-content/themes/falconship/images/flash/company_name.swf with the slightly changed company name and flag logo: Công Ty Cổ Phần Vận Tải Dầu Khí Việt Nam, with the added expression including the word "cổ" ("neck"), curiously similar to identical to "cờ," "flag."
The new flag, or at least the flag design in the modified logo, is still green with a white "F" (a letter missing in the Vietnamese name, by the way), but the shade of green is lighter and more yellowish, and the letter is now on a red six-pointed star, in David-style (dense: each tip connected to the next 2nd one, i.e. made of two concentric equilateral triangles oriented 180 degrees of each other), standing on a tip.
This change was made in the company site between 6 June and 4 September 2007 - see http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.falconship.com

Vietnam Sea Transport & Chartering Co. Formed in 1975, according to their website www.vitranschart.com.vn (although Lloyds gives them as originating as the South Vietnam Sea Transport & Chartering (Co) in 1963) they now operate as part of Vietnam National Shipping Lines. The website logo shows a horizontal bicolour of red over blue with overall a yellow "V" with the dexter arm being thicker for the company which is also known as Vitranschart or Cong Ty Van Tai Bien Va Thue Tau Viet Nam.

The Vietnam Sea Transport & Chartering Co. flag has an overall scheme clearly based on the Vietcong flag.

Originated 1989 as the Vietnam Shipping Co. it was reorganized in late 2006 as Vinaship Joint Stock Co. as a member of Vietnam National Shipping Lines with the flag logo on their website www.vinaship.com.vn showing a sky blue flag with a "V" formed by what appears to be a white bird.
