A yellow flag with a broad blue off-centred cross, with the municipal shield on the cross in a white disk.

The municipality of Louveira (37,153 inhabitants in 2010; 5,535 ha) is located 75 km of São Paulo. Louveira is believed to be named for a the "louveira" tree, Cyclolobium vecchi Sampaio ex Hoehne. Identified by Otávio Vecchi in Conchal, on the banks of river Mogi Guaçu, the tree is close to extinction in natural environment but has been preserved in botanical gardens. In 1972, two plants of "louveira" were offered by the Mogi Mirim garden to the municipality of Louveira

The symbols of Louveira are prescribed by Municipal Law No. 563 of 20 March 1978.

The flag is yellow with a blue off-centered cross. Over the intersection of the cross' arms is placed a white disk charged with the municipal coat of arms.

The coat of arms is "An Iberic shield, or a bunch of grapes purpure with two leaves vert a chief azure a cross patty an anchor and a heart all or. The shield surmounted by an eight-towered mural crown argent ports sable. The shield supported dexter by a branch of coffee and sinister by a plant of strawberry the two leaved and fructed proper. Below the shield a scroll azure inscribed with 'LOUVEIRA' in letters or."
