On 1 July 2011 the new commune of Valbroye was formed by the merger of Cerniaz, Combremont-le-Grand, Combremont-le-Petit, Granges-prÃ¨s-Marnand, Marnand, Sassel, Seigneux and Villars-Bramard (see below).
