Berumbur Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a wheat ear Or in pale between two mullets of the same.
Meaning:
The ear is symbolising the rural character of the municipality. The mullets are taken from the arms of the Idzinga kin, the former rulers or chieftains of the Norderland, to which Berumbur partially belonged.

Hage Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fes,s above Azure a demi-lion issuant Or armed and tongued Gules,. below Or a stake dam (fence) Azure.
Meaning:
Since the 14th century a castle of the local Hinkena kin was in the village. The castle was donated to the local church in 1466. Since 1664 Hage was denoted as a market town. The lion is taken from the arms of the Hinkena kin. The fence is a canting element, meaning "hague".

Halbemond Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a waxing crescent Or.
Meaning:
The municipality's name means "half moon", which is probably derived from Eastern Frisian Halvemaanland (German: Halbes Allmendeland; English: half common land) and afterwards lost in translation. Others say, the name is based on the shape of the municipality like a crescent.

Meaning:
According to Ralf Hartemink the arms are a combination of those of Lütetsburg Manor and the family arms of the Manninga kin.
