Kirchen Associated Municipality Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a double queued lion rampant guardant Or, armed and tongued Azure; mantled, at dexter Argent parted by a cross Gules, at sinister Sable a bend Argent charged with three boar heads Sable, orle Or.
Meaning:
The arms are basically the city arms of Kirchen upon Sieg City with an additional orle, symbolising the status of an associated municipality.

Brachbach Coat of Arms

Shield Vert, on base Sable an adit entrance Or masoned Sable with port of the same under a fir Or; mantled, at dexter Argent parted by a cross Gules, at sinister Sable a bend Argent charged with three boar heads Sable.
Meaning:
The main quarter is a representation of the "Werrnsberger Erbstollen", where ore mining was practised since the 18th century. The dexter half of the mantle displays the arms of the Archbishopric of Trier and the sinister half those of the Lordship of Freusburg, to which the village historically belonged. The lordship had been a fiefdom of the archbishopric since 1378.

It is a red-white-red vertical triband with ratio of stripes 1:5:1 and centred arms in the white stripe. The sheet is parted by a bendlet wavy in counterchanged colours, continuing the bend wavy on arms.

Friesenhagen Coat of Arms

Shield parted by a bend wavy Argent charged with three heraldic roses Gules seeded Or and barbed Vert, above left Gules a belfry issuant Or with acoustic window Gules, beneath right Vert three grain ears issuant Or in bend.
Meaning:
The roses are taken from the family arms of the Lords of Wildenburg, who owned the region in the late Medieval. The wavy bend is a representation of the Wisserbach, a local creek. The belfry is a representation of the local St. Sebastian church, known from 1130 and later rebuilt in Baroque style. The tower and the bend also together are symbolising the local Crottorf Castle, which is surrounded by a moat. Red and golden are the colours of the Counts of Sayn, to which the area belonged later. The lower half and the green colour are symbolising the rural character of the municipality.

Kirchen Coat of Arms

Meaning:
The current city is considered to be the heir at law of the historical lordship of Freusburg and the namesake district (German: Amt) of the Counts of Sayn, whose family arms are displayed in the red quarter of the shield. The dexter half of the mantle displays the arms of the Archbishopric of Trier and the sinister half those of the Lordship of Freusburg, to which the village historically belonged. The lordship had been a fiefdom of the archbishopric since 1378.

Niederfischbach Coat of Arms

Shield parted per bend sinister, above right Argent a cross trefly Gules, beneath left Azure a cornucopia Argent filled with plates.
Meaning:
The cross is an attribute of St. Maurice, the local patron saint. The tinctures red and silver are those of the Archbishopric of Trier, to which the village historically belonged. The cornucopia is symbolising silver mining in the area in the 18th century. It also appeared on the first coin struck from the silver, the "Erstlingstaler" from 1750. The blue colour is punning, alluding to the suffix "bach" (= creek).
