Eberhardzell Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a fess Argent (blazon says: "Shield Argent with chief and base Gules") a lion passant guardant Sable tongued Gules.
Meaning:
Due to a proposal from 1929 the municipality adopted a seal displaying three scallops Argent, ordered either per bend or bend sinister (source doesn't say precisely), in a shield Gules. It is denoted as family arms of the Neideck kin, owners of the village from 1478 until 1520. The shield partition of the current arms is reminding on the Austrian rule over three villages forming the Lordship of Waldsee. The lion is taken from the arms of the Waldburg kin, owning large parts of the nowadays municipality in the 15th and 16th century.
