Jungingen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Azure a pair of scissors Argent, at sinister quartered of Argent and Azure.
Meaning:
In 1823 the municipality used a seal, displaying a quartered shield, probably that one of the Zollern kin, surrounded by a wreath. The current arms were introduced in 1937. The scissors had been the older arms of the Lords of Jungingen, proven by seal prints until 1355. The shield quartered of white and blue had been their new arms since 1367. Konrad and Ulrich of Jungingen had been Grandmasters of the Teutonic Order from 1393 to 1410.

The arms were approved on 14 August 1937 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Sigmaringen. The banner was approved on 3 July 1967 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 619/1967.
