Golßen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Gules a wall Argent masoned Sable with three towers of the same with roofs Azure, windows Sable and a port Gules on the central tower, benath Argent with base wavy Vert, a sinister facing boar passant Sable.
Meaning:
The existence of a German castle of the Burgraves of Wettin is proven since 1301, but probably it existed already since around 1200. The village was mentioned first in 1276 and developed to a city until 1397. Together with Lower Lusatia the city became a part of the Electorate of Saxony in 1635 and of Prussia in 1815. The arms are based on the oldest city seal from the 14th century. The charges are probably representing the city and the surrounding countryside.

Schlepzig Coat of Arms

Shield Azure a pikeperch Argent, issuant from base a fishnet Argent lined Sable, base engrailed Or charged with an oak leaf and a beech leaf in saltire both Vert.
Meaning:
The charges probably refer to the Spreewald, a landscape of carrs and numerous little waterways. The leaves are representing the trees of the wood (German: Wald), fish and net and the blue colour are representing the Spree River crossing the municipality and the other small waterways.

Unterspreewald Coat of Arms

Shield Or, a dragonfly Sable in pale winged Azure between two bulrushes Sable, chief Vert charged with three pine cones Argent ordered per fess.
Meaning:
Dragonfly and bulrushes are referring to the local landscape of the name giving Unterspreewald. The pine cones are representing the three municipalities Leibsch, Neu Lübbenau and Neuendorf upon Lake, which merged on 31 December 2001.

Golßener Land Coat of Arms

Shield Or, a boar passant Sable on a base Vert, mantled Vert, at dexter charged with a watermill's wheel Or and at sinister with a grain sheaf Or of three ears.
Meaning:
The boar is taken from the arms of Golßen City, the other charges are referring to agriculture and riches of water. The subcounty merged with Unterspreewald Subcounty on 1 January 2013.
