Glonn Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
Arms blazoning : Argent, a mill-wheel Sable under a trout naiant to dexter proper.
Meaning:
The coat of arms was designed by Otto Hupp; the trout is originally blazoned "proper", but from the start usually painted blue (at least the upper half); recent drawings (like in the flag) make another anatomical mistake: the adipose fin is painted with rays.
The flag is unofficial and basically illegal, as the colours white-blue are not available for Bavarian municipalities; before 2000, the municipality only used plain Bavarian flags (lozengy and striped variants side by side), and my hypothesis is that they concluded that the lozengy flag is for Bavaria and the striped one for the municipality. Then they derived a new variant of the supposed "municipal" flag by adding the arms to the white-blue stripes.
