The shield is golden, a red sinister facing griffin, his right claw leaning on top of an inescutcheon. The inescutcheon is parted per pale into silver and black and charged with an eagle in counterchanged colours.
Meaning:
No historical context could be found, but the ensemble was in use on former seals in the 20th century and thus kept.

Deuna Coat of Arms

The shield is parted per pall reverse, above right a silver 6-spokes wheel in a red field; above left, a silver calvary cross, partially exceeding the field in a green field; beneath a silver field with blue base wavy and an impending black castle.
Meaning:
The wheel is reminding on the Archbishops of Mainz, the former rulers. The cross is the Dünkreuz, a local place of interest, having 15 meters height and erected in 1935. The moated castle in base is another local place of interest, being the seat of the family Hagen von Deuna.

Gerterode Coat of Arms

The shield is parted per pall reverse, above right a silver branch of oak with three leaves and two acorns in a red field; above left a blue chalice in a silver field; beneath a silver watermill's wheel in a blue field.
Meaning:
The branch is referring to local oak groves. The chalice to a glas kiln, which had been here since the 16th century. The wheel is reminding on three former watermills in the municipality.

Hausen Coat of Arms

The shield is mantled; above right is a golden issuant crozier in a blue field; above left is a silver sword issuant set in pale in a red field; beneath are three black houses ordered 1:2 in a silver field.
Meaning:
The crozier is reminding on a former monastery of the Cistercians. The sword is an attribute of St. Katherine of Alexandria, being the local patron saint; the houses are canting elements.

Meaning:
Jar and water are canting - the translation of the municipality's name is something like "rich fountain". The branch is alluding to the local beech groves.
