Shield Azure, issuant from base a mount Vert, topped by an embattled tower Argent masoned Sable, in chief an impending initial "L".
Meaning:
Although called fortress and city in 1301, Loßburg remained a market town. Together with the namesake lordship it was sold in 1501 to Alpirsbach Monastery by the Lords of Geroldseck. The name of the municipality is derived from a medieval moated castle, its hump is still existing.

Banner and arms were approved on 1 March 1974 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 1106/1974. The municipality was incorporated into Loßburg on 1 January 2007.
