Jockgrim Associated Municipality Coat of Arms

Shield quartered; 1st quarter Argent Azure an A-shaped plough share Argent; 2nd quarter Or a isosceles triangle Sable, topped by a crosslet of the same and intertwined with a cord Gules, 3rd quarter Argent a shepherd´s baton and spade in saltire, both Sable, in base a tobacco leaf Vert;; 4th quarter Azure, above a bell Argent, beneath a fish of the saeme; orle quartered of Argent and Gules.
Meaning:
The quarters are representing the four municipalities of the entity as follows: Jockgrim 1st quarter, Rheinzabern 2nd quarter, Hatzenbühl 3rd quarter and Neupotz 4th quarter.

Hatzenbühl Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, standing on base Vert a herdsman, nimbed Argent, dressed Azure with baton Or bladed Argent in pale and bag Or hanging from his shoulder, at his feet on base a royal crown Or.
Meaning:
The arms are based on a local court seal from 1721. The nimbed herdsman is St. Wendelin, the local patron saint.

The arms are based on a local court seal from 1753. The local symbol is either considered to be an initial "A" or a plough share, stressing the rural character.

Neupotz Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, above a bell Or, below a sinister facing fish Argent.
Meaning:
The arms are based on a local court seal from 1724. The charges are based on a local legend. A preceding village was drowned and sank into the Rhine. If a fisher is crossing that place on Sunday, it is said that he can see the sunk village with the church of St. Nicolas, and he can also hear its bell ringing.
