Heringsdorf Coat of Arms

Shield Azure three bars wavy Argent, in chief an impending coronet Or.
Meaning:
Heringsdorf is located on the north coast of the island of Usedom, about 10 km by rail northwest of Swinoujscie/ Poland. It had been one of the most popular resorts on the German Baltic shore since its foundation. It consists of three parts: Ahlbeck on the Polish border, Heringsdorf proper (central part) and Bansin in the west. These three municipalities had been the favourite spas of the German Emperors, and had been well known as "bathtub of Berlin". It has scenic houses and mansions in the style of "Bäderarchitektur"
On 1 January 2005 the spas Ostseeheilbad Ahlbeck, Ostseeheilbad Bansin and Seebad Heringsdorf merged. The new entity got the name Dreikaiserbäder (English: Three Imperial Spas), which was however changed on 1 January 2006 to Seebad Heringsdorf and on 1 February 2007 to Ostseebad Heringsdorf. The oldest settlement is Bansin, which was mentioned in 1256. The seaside resort was established around 1897. Around 1700 on the mouth of Aaalbeeke (lit.: eel's creek) there were two settlements named Ahlbeck, the Mellenthin portion on the left bank and the royal (Prussian) portion on the right bank. Both developed to a village of fishermen and later since 1852 to a seaside resort. Heringsdorf was established in 1820 by Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm III as a village for fishermen (herring's village). Since 1824 mansions were built. In 1879 Heringsdorf merged with the older village of Neukirch and was since then called Seebad Heringsdorf, i.e. it gained the title of a spa.
The waves in the arms are representing the three former spas. The coronet is symbolising beauty and elegancy of those spas and was also symbolising the name Dreikaiserbäder.

Dreikaiserbäder Logo Flag

[Dreikaiserbäder Logo Flag] 3:5 image by Klaus-Michael Schneider, 10 Apr 2020

It is a white flag with blue centred logo as follows: A house with two white columns, between the columns is a white inscription in serifed initial "KAISER"(1st line)"BÄDER"(2nd line). At both edges are the silhouettes of a number three, at the fly end mirrored. Beneath the house are two waves. I guess it is a mere promotion flag without official status.
Source: I spotted this flag on 7 September 2016 near the entertainment hall (Kursaal) in Heringsdorf.
