Kottmar Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Azure a tower Or with port and windows Sable, at sinister Or seven firs Vert ordered 4:3 per pale, on heart point an inescutcheon Argent charged with an initial "K" Vert.
Meaning:
Kottmar was established on 1 January 2013 by a merger of Niedercunnersdorf, Obercunnersdorf and Eibau. The firs are representing the seven settlement cores Eibau, Kottmarsdorf, Neueibau, Niedercunnersdorf, Obercunnersdorf, Ottenhain and Walddorf. Initial and tower are referring to the name giving mountain. The tower is a representation of the lookout on its peak.

Eibau Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Argent a yew Vert, beneath barry of six of Azure and Or.
Meaning:
The yew (German: Eibe) is a canting element, the bars probably are representations of stripes of acres, as Eibau was established by forest clearance and is a typical forest village with broad stripes of acres alongside the main street. Another reason might be that the bars are a differentiation of the Landsberg pales, as the area was ruled by the Margraves of Landsberg, who also ruled Lusatia.

Kottmarsdorf Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, on top of a mount issuant Or charged with a Gothic initial "K" Sable a windmill Or.
Meaning:
The mill is a representation of the local post mill (German: Bockwindmühle). Mount and initial are symbolising the name giving Kottmar, a mountain. The village became a part of Obercunnersdorf on 1 January 1999.

Obercunnersdorf Coat of Arms

Shield Or with base Vert a gate Gules masoned Sable, standing on base in the open gate a knight Argent holding a sword in bend of the same by his dexter hand and an oval shield of the same by his sinister hand, charged with the name "CONRAD" in pale and flanked by numbers "12" at dexter and "21" at sinister.
Meaning:
The original name of the village had been Cunradisdorf, the village of Conrad, probably referring to Margrave Konrad II of Landsberg, who conquered large parts of Lusatia. In 1210 he signed the Treaty of Köpenick, after he had conquerad the Silesian Duchy of Lubusz (German: Lebus). The knight is thus representing the name giver. 1221 is the year, when the village was first mentioned in a charter by its original name.
