Bad Schönborn Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a well with fountain Argent shifted to the sinister side and touching the edge of the shield. In dexter chief an inescutcheon Or, charged with a lion's head Gules crowned Azure.
Meaning:
The municipality was established on 1 January 1971 by a merger of Bad Langenbrücken and Bad Mingolsheim. Name and arms of the new municipality are alluding to Damian Hugo of Schönborn, Bishop of Speyer, who rebuilt the local Kislau Estate in baroque style. The family arms of the Schönborn kin are reduced to a crowned lion's head. The name of the municipality also means "fair well" or "fair fountain" and is alluding to the mineral springs in both parts of the municipality. Blue and silver had been the colours of the Bishopric of Speyer.

Bad Langenbrücken Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, a hook Or surrounded by four 8-point stars Or, ordered 2:2.
Meaning:
The existence of a similar pattern had been proven first on a village seal from 1628, probably base on a much older local symbol. On occasion of the revision of Badenian communal heraldry it became a coat of arms. The tinctures chosen had been those of Baden. The current version was established in 1950. In 1965 Langenbrücken gained the title of a Spa and was renamed Bad Langenbrücken.

Shield Azure, in chief a scallop Argent, in base two chain links Argent, open to the outward side, i.e. C-shaped.
Meaning:
The village is known since the 8th century. The existence of a local court seal, displaying the current pattern of the arms, is proven since 1622. Scallop and chain links are attributes of St. Roch, the local patron saint, alluding to his pilgrimage and his incarceration in Montpellier. Another seal from the 18th century displayed however St. Lambert. In 1957 the old pattern was transformed to a coat of arms in the tinctures of the Bishopric of Speyer. The chief reeve of the bishop resided in Kislau Castle until 1803. In 1825 a sulphur spring was discovered. In 1964 the village gained the title of a spa together with the prefix "Bad".
