The Trinity-Eye was interpreted as a symbol of the freemasons and thus abolished in 1938 and replaced by the oak tree. The tree was representing the slogan "City in the Forest", not only the local forests but also the clean air, furthermore fact that the city is a spa, based on clean air and water.
