Hasloch Coat of Arms

Shield Azure three hares Or in triangle connected at their ears, on central chief point and central base point a heraldic rose Argent seeded Or.
Meaning:
A local court seal from 1730 displayed an eagle issuant and three roses, the family arms of the Counts of Wertheim. The city of Wertheim had the same city seal, known by prints since 1316. The counts gained the privilege of being under direct imperial rule in the 13th century. They died out in 1556. Their successors, the Counts of Löwenstein, adopted the epithet "Wertheim" and the family arms of their predecessors. Hasloch belonged to the County of Wertheim until 1803 since the times of the Staufen kin. The number of roses was reduced to two, in order to distinguish the arms from those of Wertheim City. The hares are a demotic symbol of the village and furthermore canting. The pattern was carved onto an architectural sculpture at the local well and is nowadays standing besides the municipal hall.
