Shield parted per fess; above Or a demi-lion rampant Azure, armed and tongued Gules holding a short sword Gules in bend sinister by his right forepaw; beneath Gules an oak branch Or with three acorns.
Meaning:
The flag colours are taken probably from the flag of Lower Saxony, which are the same as those of entire Germany. The demi-lion is a modification taken from the arms of the county and the Dukes of Braunschweig-Lüneburg

Betzendorf Coat of Arms

Shield Vert, a church tower Argent, in base four grain ears Or tied of the same.
Meaning:
The tower belongs to the local parish church, dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul. The grain ears probably are representing the four other villages belonging to Betzendorf as follows: Drögennindorf, Glüsingen, Tellmer and Holtdorf. The flag colours are taken probably from the flag of Lower Saxony, which are the same as those of entire Germany, although the shade of yellow here is different.

Soderstorf Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale; at dexter Or a lion rampant Azure, armed and tongued Gules; at sinister Azure an armring Or.
Meaning:
The dexter half displays the arms of the Dukes of Braunschweig-Lüneburg, the former rulers. The sinister half is alluding to the fact that the municipality had been populated since the Neolithic Age. The armring is referring to local excavations from the Bronze Age.
