Fuchstal Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Azure a bend wavy Argent, at sinister Or an ash leaf Vert, base Argent charged with an oar Gules issuant from dexter.
Meaning:
On 1 July 1972 Leeder Market Town merged with the municipalities of Asch and Seestall. They formed the new municipality of Fuchstal. The tinctures blue and gold (yellow) are taken from the Swabian branch of the Lords of Freyberg, who owned estates in Asch and Leeder in the Late Medieval. The bend wavy is representing Leeder and is taken from its municipal arms, approved in 1957. It is a canting element, as the name is derived from "-lede", an artificial water course, probably alluding to Schmidbach, a local creek. The ash is representing Asch and also canting and taken from the municipal arms of Asch, approved in 1951. The oar is representing Seestall, which had been a village of fishermen. The oar is alluding to its other important business line, rafting of timber. The tinctures blue and silver (white) are those of the Rehlingen kin, local rulers of Leeder in the 16th century.
