Bobritzsch-Hilbersdorf Coat of Arms

Shield Argent parted per pale; at dexter Argent a sinister facing beaver rampant Sable, at sinister Argent poker, fork and broach in fan all Sable; base wavy parted by a barrulet wavy Argent, above Azure charged with three lozenges Argent, beneath Vert charged with two lozenges Argent.
Meaning:
Bobritzsch and Hilbersdorf merged on 1 January 2012. The beaver is taken from the arms of the former municipality of Bobritzsch. The tools used for forging are taken from the former arms of Hilbersdorf. The green part is symbolising the landscape. The blue part is symbolising the Bobritzsch River. The lozenges are representing the four settlement cores of the former municipality Bobritzsch and the former municipality of Hilbersdorf. The three lozenges on the blue part are located on the banks of the river.

Bobritzsch Coat of Arms

Shield enhanced parted per fess wavy; above Argent a beaver passant Sable, beneath parted by a barrulet Argent of Azure charged with four lozenges Argent and Vert.
Meaning:
Beaver and the blue part of the base are symbolising the name giving river. The green part is symbolising the landscape. The lozenges are representing the settlement cores of Naundorf, Niederbobritzsch, Oberbobritzsch and Sohra.
