Ketzerbachtal Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, a gauge Vert parted by a pale wavy Argent, in centre an impending embattled bridge Sable, in chief an alder leaf Vert flanked by two oak leaves of the same.
Meaning:
Ketzerbachtal was established on 1 January 1994 by a merger of the municipalities of Raußlitz, Rüsseina and Ziegenhain. On 1 March 1994 Rhäsa was added. The new municipality had 24 settlement cores. Together with the municipality of Leuben-Schleinitz it formed an administrative community, which was dissolved on 14 November 2013. Both municipalities were incorporated into Nossen on 1 January 2014. The pale wavy is a represenation of the name giving Ketzerbach, a creek. The bridge is a local building and the leaves are symbolising the location in the woods.
