Ingelheim Coat of Arms

Shield Argent an eagle Sable armed and tongued Gules.
Meaning:
In 1938 the rural towns of Niederingelheim and Oberingelheim and the municipality of Frei-Weinheim merged and the product was upgraded to a city. An eagle bearing a crown upon his breast already appeared in the 14th century on a seal of the local imperial court of justice and on older seals of both rural towns, which had been under direct imperial rule. The arms of Oberingelheim displayed the eagle on a golden background since 1508. The arms of Niederingelheim from the 16th century displayed an eagle issuant from an embattled red wall on a silver background.

Heidesheim Associated Municipality Coat of Arms

Shield parted per bend sinister, above right Or with orle Sable an eagle Sable armed and tongued Gules, beneath left Gules with orle Argent a wheel Argent with four cut spokes and superimposed by a throughout facetted cross Argent.
Meaning:
The arms are a combination of the municipal arms of Wackernheim above right and Heidesheim beneath left. The orle is symbolising the status of an associated municipality.

Flag and banner were approved on 8 November 1995 and abolished on 1 July 2019. The arms were approved on 8 November 1995 by the county administration.

Heidesheim Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a wheel Argent with four cut spokes and superimposed by a throughout facetted cross Argent.
Meaning:
The arms are based on the 15th century seal of the village. The seal already showed the arms, with St. Bilhildis and St. Catherine as supporters. St. Bilhildis, represented by the cross, was patron saint of the Altenmünster Abbey in Mainz, which owned the village at that time. St. Catherine, represented by the wheel, was the local patron saint.

Flag and banner were approved on 16 May 1986 and abolished on 1 July 2019. The arms were approved in 1927 by Minister of Interior of Hessen-Darmstadt.

Wackernheim Coat of Arms

Shield Or an eagle Sable armed and tongued Gules.
Meaning:
The arms display the one-headed imperial eagle, as Wackernheim had been a Free Imperial Village since 900. The eagle appeared on the oldest known seal of the village, used between 1586 and 1760. A proposal from 1955 displayed the eagle with a white inescutcheon upon his breast, charged with a red initial "W" as distinguishing mark. This proposal was not adopted by the municipality.

The banner was in use at least since 1986. The arms were approved after 1955.
