Description of  flag:
The ratio is given as 1:2. It was a red over yellow horizontal bicolour. According to Stadler 1970, p.36 it was a yellow over red horizontal bicolour.

Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
Shield Gules, an castle Argent, having an embattled wall and two embattled towers, on top of the gate on a basement Argent, a sinister-facing lion statant Or, in the open trefoil-shaped gate a barrulet wavy Argent.
Meaning:
Einbeck was first mentioned as a city in 1203 and its local council was first mentioned in 1252. The arms are based on the oldest seal of the city from 1264 with prints since 1289. Towers and wall are stressing the city rank of Einbeck. The lion is that one on the lion monument of the Welfen kin in Braunschweig. The waves in base are symbolising the Krumme Wasser stream crossing the city. The many additions in the 1970 did not change the arms of the city. The current arms, based on the first seal, were approved in 1938.

Greene Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
Shield Azure, on a mount Vert a throughout embattled wall Argent, crowned by a tower of the same, over all an inescutcheon Gules, charged with a lion rampant Or tongued Azure and having a bordureof 16 alternating pieces of Argent and Azure.
Meaning:
The very old village was a dominion of the Lords of Homburg, which here erected a castle before 1300, since the 13th century. The inescutcheon displays the arms of the Lords of Homburg. Greene became a market town in the early 19th century, was incorporated into Kreiensen in 1974 and as a part of Kreiensen to Einbeck in 2013. The arms were approved in 1962 by Präsident of Lower Saxonian Braunschweig District.

Kreiensen Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
Shield Gules, parted by a bend sinister wavy Argent, above right a sinister facing lion rampant Or crowned of the same, beneath left three roses Or seeded Gules in bend sinister.
Meaning:
The lion is alluding to the Lords of Homburg, owners of Greene castle, and the Dukes of Braunschweig, while the rose is alluding to the Barons of Oldershausen, who played an important role in the 14th century. The bend wavy is representing the Leine River, which runs through the municipality. The arms were approved on 1 October 1975.
