It is a blue-yellow-blue horizontal triband with ratio of stripes 1:14:1 acc. to blazon, image reveals approx. 1:2:1. In the middle of the central stripe is the stag from the coat of arms and in the middle of the lower stripes is the fish from the coat of arms.

Barnin Coat of Arms

Shield parted abased per fess wavy, above Or a stag passant Sable, beneath Azure a fish Argent.
Meaning:
The stag is taken from the family arms of the Lobecke kin. They had been the first proven owners of the village. The fish is alluding to local fishery in the Barnim Lake.

Criwitz Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, an arch trefoily Gules, issuant from arch three towers Gules with domes, in base a triangular shield parted per fess of Gules and Or, flanked by two impending heraldic roses Gules.
Meaning:
The arms are based on the print of a city seal from 1322. The shield displays the arms of the Counts of Schwerin, who granted city rights before 1279. Arch and towers are stressing the character of a fortified city. The roses are mere decorations.

The flag was approved on 26 February 2001 by Minister of Interior of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The arms were granted on 10 April 1858 by Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Both were published in the Municipal Roll of Arms Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as no.215.

It is a yellow-blue-yellow vertical triband with ratio of stripes 1:2:1. The amrs are in the centre of the blue stripe.

Demen Coat of Arms

Shield Or, two branches Gules flamant of Or and Gules in saltire, in each quarter a trefoil Gules, bordure double undy of Azure and Or.
Meaning:
The Wendish name of the municipality (dyminy) meant smoky location and is referring to the fact that the settlement had been created by slash and burn in the Middle Ages. The branches are referring to forestal riches and to a pair of giant redwoods (Latin: Sequoia gigantea), growing in a local forest. The flames are alluding to the fact that redwoods need fire to grow up. The trefoils are representing the four villages Buebeck, Demen proper, Cobande and Venzkow. The colours are the historical tinctures of Mecklenburg.

Leezen Coat of Arms

Shield Or, a fess Azure, above an impending dolmen Gules, beneath five plough shares Gules ordered 3:2.
Meaning:
The blue fess is representing the Schwerin Lake. The dolmen is alluding to the many dolmens on the area of the municipality. The plough shares are symbolising agriculture. Their number is alluding to the five villages Görslow, Leezen proper, Panstorf, Rampe and Zittow, forming the municipality.

Sukow Coat of Arms

Shield Or an eradicated linden Vert, over all a dog passant Sable.
Meaning:
Sukow, also spelt Suckow, was first mentioned in 1328. There had been two villages, one in Mecklenburg and one in Brandenburg, having this name. They were united in 1950. Lindens are the predominant species of trees in the municipality. The black dog appears in a few local legends.

Zapel Coat of Arms

Shield vert, a heron statant Argent armed Or, on dexter and sinister chief point two pairs of acorns Or placed symmetrically with reference to the vertical axis.
Meaning:
The acorns are symbolising an oak tree of very old age (some 100s of years) in the village. The heron is canting. ("Zapel" is derived from Slavic: czapla = heron)
