Borkheide Coat of Arms

Shield Vert, a propeller Argent in bend sinister, flanked in chief by a postal horn Or and in base by two mushrooms Or.
Meaning:
The horn is reminding on the 1st German Air Mail service, which started in Borkheide on 18 February 1912. The propeller is also alluding to the local construction of motors and aeroplanes. The company was established by Hans Grade, a pilot and engineer. The mushrooms are considered to be canting and are alluding to the local heather landscape.

Brück Coat of Arms

Shield Or, issuant from an embowed base Vert a linden Vert, flanked by two impending embattled towers Gules, masoned Sable with one window Sable each and cone roofs, topped by a ball Argent each, the dexter ball topped by a white over green bicolour, the sinister ball by a red over white bicolour.
Meaning:
The pattern already appeared on the oldest city seal from the 14th century. Later seals displayed some variations in the tree, whereas the whole ensemble as described above is placed onto a shield in the seal from 1561. Otto Hupp (1925) displayed a linden on a mount Vert, flanked by blue towers without flags.
