Albaching Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale; at dexter parted per bend of Argent and Azure, over all three balls Or ordered 2:1 superimposing a crozier of the same in pale; at sinister parted per fess, above Gules a horse salient Argent bridled Sable, beneath Gules a pale Argent.
Meaning:
Balls and crozier are attributes of St. Nicholas, the local patron saint. The bridled horse is symbolising that the municipality historically belonged to the Imperial County of Haag. The lower half displays the family arms of the Fraunberg family. The tinctures are those of the imperial county mentioned above, to which the village belonged since 1200 until 1804. The Fraunberg kin died out in 1566 ans was succeeded by the Wittelsbach kin, represented by the tinctures blue and white. The municipality was incorporated into Pfaffing in 1978 but regained its independence on 1 January 1994 due to its continuous resistance against the incorporation.
