Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, a church Argent with roofs Or, topped by crosslets on balls of the same, in base a fess wavy Argent.
Meaning:
The fess wavy is canting, as it represents the name giving Feilnbach, derived from Fauler Bach (=rotten creek) and first mentioned in 980 as Fulinpah. The church is taken from the family arms of the Barons of Diepertskirchen, owners of the namesake estates in Lippertskirchen between the 11th and the 15th century. The arms were adopted by the former Feilnbach Municipality in 1957 and were changed in details in 1966, when Feilnbach merged with Wiechs and the municipality of Feilnbach-Wiechs was established. Since 1971 Wiechs was omitted in the name of the municipality. In 1973 Feilnbach gained the title of a spa and has since then its current name. The image of the church is based on an engraving on a tombstone in Lippertshausen from 1391.

The tricolour was adopted on 21 January 2010, the arms were approved on 7 August 1957 and confirmed on 9 May 1966 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
