Itzstedt Municipal Coat of Arms

The shield has a blue base topped by a silver (= white) bow wavy. Above the shield is divided per pale. The dexter side is displaying a green double-oak issuant in a silver (= white) field. The sinister side is displaying a golden (= yellow) spade with broken shaft in a red field.
Meaning:
The double-oak is a symbol of the undissolvable union of Holstein and Schleswig after the insurrection of 1848, also alluding to the merging of the historical core east of federal road B432 with the new settlements west of the road. The broken spade is symbolising the change of the swamps in the east into a nature protection area in the 20th century. The bow is alluding to a local watershed. The blue base is symbolising Itzstedter See, a local lake.

Kayhude Municipal Coat of Arms

The golden (= yellow) shield is divided by a broad, blue fess wavy, superimposed by a golden (= yellow), sinister facing boat having a black freight of peat bricks. Below the fess are two black barrulets wavy and a black tool (German: Torfmesser).
Meaning:
All elements have something to do with the digging of peat, which had been the most important business line in the past. The digged peat up to the 19th century was shipped to Hamburg by boats on the Alster River, which is crossing the municipality.

Nahe Municipal Coat of Arms

The blue base is topped by a silver (= white) fess wavy. Above in a red field is a silver (= white) brooch.
Meaning:
The colours are those of Schleswig-Holstein. Base and fess wavy are alluding to the municipality's name, which was first mentioned in 1457 as "to de Na", which means "near the water". The central charge is the brooch (German: Rollenkappenfibel) from the Bronze Age, which had been found here in 1913 together with numerous other pieces partially from the Neolithic Age.

Oering Municipality

It is a green flag. According to source the sheet is divided by "the upper half of a white Scandinavian cross". (The "cross" is a modification of a silver pall reversed wavy from the coat of arms.). On both sides of the vertical bar is a golden (= yellow) leaf of linden tree. Under the vertical bar is an annulet consisting of seven segments having the same colour.

Oering Municipal Coat of Arms

The green shield is parted enhanced by a white chevron wavy, continued by a white pallet to the top, ia golden linden leaf is in dexter and sinister chief, in base an annulet consisting of seven segments having the same colour.
Meaning:
The annulet is symbolising seven acres surrounding a common (village green). The pall from the arms is symbolising riches of water. The leaves are symbolising the trees surrounding the common.

It is nearly an armorial flag. The charges are slightly shifted to the hoist.

Seth Municipal Coat of Arms

The shield is tierced per chevron ployé into silver (= white) over green. Above right is a green urn. Above left is a red florescence. Below central is agolden (= yellow) sundew having seven leaves.
Meaning:
The green colour is symbolising agriculture. The sundew is alluding to the local swamps. The urn of bronze, about 3000 years old, had been found in the Sether Moor, a local swamp. The florescence is symbolising wealth and development. The seven leaves are symbolising the seven acres (German: Hufen), which had been the base of the village.
