Freienwill Municipal Coat of Arms

The shield is divided per fess. Above in a blue field is a golden (= yellow) oak leaf connected with two acorns and flanked by two ears of grain of the same colour. Below in a golden (= yellow) field is a blue bridge.
Meaning:
The division of the shield into equal parts is symbolising the merger of the villages of Kleinsolt and Kleinwolstrup in 1974. The new municipality gave itself the name of a traditional settlement core loated in Kleinwolstrup. The grain is symbolising agriculture. The bridge is crossing the local Kielsau creek in Kleinsolt. The oak parts are symbolising Kleinwolstrup and its woods. The colours are symbolising grain and water and they are furthermore the traditional colours of the duchy of Schleswig.

Großsolt Municipal Coat of Arms

In a green shield is a golden (=yellow) house mark, that way that six rhombs are forming a bottoms up cross. The central rhomb is bigger.
Meaning:
The six rhombs are symbolising the merger of the former municipalities of Bistoft, Estrup, Kollerup, Großsolt, Großsoltbrück and Großsoltholz The bigger rhomb is symbolising Großsolt. The cross as a whole is an ancient adornement of the farmhouses going back to the times of the Vikings. The mark is symbolising the long rural tradition.

The flag was approved on 21 April 1992. The coat of arms was approved on 22 May 1991. The artists are Anna Christine Fietz, Hans Frieder Kühne and Wilfried Surrey.

Husby Municipality

Husby Municipal Flag

[Husby municipal flag] 3:5 image by Jörg Majewski, 8 Apr 2006

It is a yellow over blue over yellow horizontal triband with ratio approx. 1:6:1. In the centre of the blue stripe is a yellow house standing on four poles without any windows. The roof is covered by shingles and flanked by two crosses, one at each gutter.
Meaning:
The house is taken from the arms. It appeared in 1450 on the seals of the Husby subdistrict (Harde). The house is canting, because the name of the municipality means "settlement near an (important) house". It is probably the image of a very old wooden church, because Husby was mentioned as having a church already in 1319 and being the capital of the subdistrict. The colours are those of the Duchy of Schleswig.
Source: Reißmann 1997, p.191

The flag was approved on 18 July 1984.
