Arneburg Coat of Arms

Shield Argent with base wavy Azure, issuant from base an embattled wall Gules masoned sable with port Sable and portcullis Or, topped by two towers of the same with windows Sable and roofs Vert, topped by balls Or, the dexter tower has a hip roof, the sinister one a cone roof, in central chief an impending eagle Gules armed Or.
Meaning:
There is little known about the origin of the arms. Eagle and castle (German: Arne old for Adler and Burg) might be a canting ensemble, The eagle might furthermore allude to Brandenburg. The base wavy is representing the Elbe River. The towers are most likely representing a monastery and the local castle.

Eichstedt Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Azure three sword in fan pointing downwards, at sinister Argent twooak leaves Azure in pale, each one accompanied by two acorns capsuled Or.
Meaning:
The blue colour is symbolising the Uchte River. The swords are taken from the arms of the Eichstedt kin, local rulers first mentioned in 1204. The oak leaves are canting and furthermore representing the villages of Eichstedt proper and Baumgarten.

The arms were approved on 28 July 2004 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Magdburg for the municipality's predecessor. They were adopted on 14 January 2010 by the local council and confirmed on 1 February 2010 by the county administration.

Hassel Coat of Arms

Shield parted by a bendlet sinister eightfold of Argent and Gules, above right Argent a hazel branch Vert with leaves and nuts, beneath left Azure four wavy lines Argent.
Meaning:
The hazel branch is canting for the main settlement core of Hassel proper. The bendlet is a representation of a toll bar in the settlement Chausseehaus Hassel. The bar existed until 1857 on the road to Arneburg. The blue field with waves is symbolising a local lake, made from a sand mine in Wischer.

Iden Municipality Coat of Arms

Shield quartered of Argent and Vert, 1st quarter a cow's head caboshed Sable, 2nd quarter an open book Argent, 3rd quarter three grain ears Argent ordered per fess, 4th quarter a cogwheel Sable.
Meaning:
In 1984 on occasion of the 650-years anniversary a coat of arms was designed and used, depicting a cow's head, a book with many inscriptions, among those the Gauss-curve of the Normal Distribution, and grain ears. After 1990 the municipality applied for official arms. The draft was made by Jörg Mantzsch in 2002. The new arms were amended and quartered. The cow's head was representing kettle breeding, the book science and education, the grain ears crop production and the cogwheel technologies.

Meaning:
The rooks (German: Roche (pl.)) are alluding to the Lords of Rochow, local rulers in the past, and to the name of the municipality. The fir is representing the former Schwarzenhagen municipality. Plough share and cogwheel are representing agriculture and its machinery.

Shield Argent, an eagle Gules armed Or, in chief a crescent recumbent Or topped by a 6-point star of the same.
Meaning:
The eagle is taken from the Brandenburg arms. The meanings of crescent and star are not sure. Some say they are a mere distinguishing element, others say they are alluding to a local commandery of the Order of St. John. The eagle is displayed on arms since the 13th century. Crescent and star were added after the Protestant Reformation. The flag colours are those of Brandenburg and of the Hanseatic League as well.
