Niederahr Coat of Arms

Shield Azure parted by a bend sinister wavy, above right a demi-lion issuant Or armed and tongued Gules and holding a cogwheel Argent by his forepaws, beneath left a spade Or in bend sinister.
Meaning:
The name giving creek Ahrbach is represented by the bend sinister wavy. the demi-lion displays a differentiation of the arms of the Dukes of Nassau, the former sovereigns. The tinctures blue and golden also refer to the dukes. The cogwheel is symbolising the local metal processing industries. The spade is symbolising the depletion of clay.

The banner is quartered per pale wavy and per chevron wavy of blue and yellow with centred arms. Three lines of partition continue those on arms. The cross beams on arms are continued by yellow lines.

Oberahr Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale wavy, at dexter Argent parted by a cross Gules charged with a crozier issuant Or, at sinister Azure a grain ear Or and a beech leaf of the same, issuant from base a triplemount parted per pale wavy of Azure and Or.
Meaning:
The name giving creek Ahrbach is represented by the wavy paly line of partition. The cross is alluding to the Archbishopric of Trier, the tinctures blue and golden to the Duchy of Nassau, both former local rulers. The crozier is an attribute of St. Blaise, the local patron saint. It is also alluding to the archbishopric. Ear and leaf are symbolising agriculture. The triplemount is representing Beulstein and Oberahrer Berge, a mountain and a ridge.

The banner has centred arms and the line of partition on arms is continued by a descending wavy line. The baaner is parted of white and blue alongside the line of partition and has a descending blue wavy line in upper fly and a descending white wavy line in lower hoist.

Obererbach Coat of Arms

Shield parted per bend wavy, above left Gules seven connected hexagonal basalt columns Argent ordered 4:3, beneath right Argent an alder twig Gules with two leaves and two fruit.
Meaning:
The twig of an alder (German: Erle) together with the wavy line of partition is canting. The columns are alluding to the depletion of basalt and are aslo alluding to the county. Its arms also display basalt columns.

Meaning:
The chief is a representation of the Eisenbach, a creek, the number of waves is those of the former watermills alongside the creek. The dexter half displays the arms of the Archbishopric of Trier. The axe is an attribute of St. Matthew, the local patron saint.

Shield parted per fess, above Azure a spade´s blade Argent charged with an initial "W" Gules and flanked by two churches Argent, beneath Argent a jug Azure under two swords of the same in saltire.
Meaning:
The initial is the first letter of the name of the municipality. The spade is alluding to forest clearance as origin of the village. The churches are representations of the local Protestant and Catholic church. The lower half is symbolising excavations.

Shield Argent abased parted by a barrulet wavy Azure, above three connected linden leaves Vert in triangle fruited of the same, on central chief point a plough share Gules, beneath parted by a lattice Gules.
Meaning:
The plough share is symbolising the former practice of three-field crop rotation. The linden leaves are representing the three local linden trees. The blue barrulet wavy is a representation of the Eisenbach, a creek. The lattice is representing the former well at the astern edge of the village. The tinctures red and white are those of the Archbishopric of Trier.
