a special "Sacred Defense" exhibition at the "Holy Defense Museum". He is

The three right-side flags are all associated with the "Holy Defense Museum"
located in Tehran. The Museum was developed to honor and remember the Iranian
servicemen who were killed (martyred) during the "Imposed War" or "Holy Defense
War" between Iran & Iraq. It started on 22 September 1980 when Iraq invaded
neighboring Iran, and it lasted almost eight years, ending in a stalemate on 20
August 1988.

The far right flag is for: "The Holy Defense Museum". (Persian/Farsi: موزه
انقلاب اسلامی و دفاع مقدس , Muze-ye enghelab-e eslami ve defa'-e moghadas).

The middle flag is for: "The Foundation for the Protection of Works and
Publication of the Values of the Holy Defense". (Farsi: بنیاد حفظ آثار و نشر
ارزشهای دفاع مقدس). This dark-blue flag shows the foundation's logo: which has
a design of the 1979 Revolution's "red tulip" (in remembrance of martyred
servicemen), a bullet, and a clinched fist raised in defiance.

The second flag from the right (logo is also on the podium) is for: the
"Fortieth Anniversary of the Sacred Defense" commemorative flag.
The
white slogan in the green field is from the Muslim holy book: Quran, Sura
Al-Fatah 48: 1, which reads: "Indeed, we have granted you a clear triumph ˹O
Prophet˺ {Mohammed}". Under the logo is written: "Fortieth Year of the Sacred
Defense". Its logo has a design of the 1979 Revolution's "red tulip" (in
remembrance of martyred servicemen), a red bullet shaped as the middle pedal of
the tulip, and a clinched fist raised in defiance. The "Fortieth Year of the
Sacred Defense" reference relates to the start of the Iran-Iraq War on 22 Sept.
1980; so Sept. 1980 - Sept. 2020 = the 40 years ceremonial remembrance event on
23 Sept. 2020 for the dedication of a special "Sacred Defense" exhibition at the
Museum.
