Those of you not familiar with Dutch domestic affairs may not know that Schiphol is not a hole for ships but the place where the international airport of Amsterdam is located; and KLM is of course the Dutch national career, which once had a flag, went down in history, being swallowed by a big French firm.

Skadi Rotterdam

[Skadi burgee] by Jarig Bakker, 24 Apr 2005

A unique and vexillological correct design is owned by the Rotterdam Rowing club "Skadi". The origin of that flag is not known. Since 1928 "Skadi" used a green shifted cross on white with a golden emblem in top hoist (two rowing oars in saltire with an arrow). A design like that is not unusual for Rotterdam, see the Rotterdamse Zeilvereniging. The flag, which is used nowadays, is of the Rotterdam Rowing- and Yachting Club "Hades", founded in 1961, which merged into "Skadi" in 1976, on condition that the colors were taken over. In the statutes of "Hades" was written that the flag was striped blue - white - black - white - blue. The origin of those colors is unknown. As well as who made the changes in it. The flag seems to have been like that since
the beginning. There is a photo taken on the Mont Blanc at this website with the Skadi flag.

Sneek Z.V.

[Sneek Z.V. burgee] by Jarig Bakker, 7 Sep 2004

The Yearbook of the "Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad" - Wie, Wat, Waar 1941 has two pages with burgees.
Koninklijke Zeil Vereniging "Sneek", Sneek (Fryslân) - a burgee vertically divided yellow - black; in the center a white disk
charged with a yachting scene; in the canton on black a yellow crown.
On this webpage are several flags, none of them looking like the WWW41 burgee. The club has merged into the Koninklijk Watersportvereniging Sneek, which was founded 1 Jun 1851, and is the organizer of the "Sneekweek", a famous summer-event. The Sneekweek was first organized in 1935, and found its origin in the "Hardzeildag" (fast-sailing day), which was first held in 1814 when it was discovered that the French had discharged Jacob Sjoukes Visser from military service, and all Snitsers sailed to Joure to welcome JS. This trip was very much to the liking of the Snitsers, and they decided to have every year a Hardzeilersdag.

Steenwijk WV

[Steenwijk burgee] by Jarig Bakker, 11 Dec 2004

Club founded 31 Jan 1989.
The charge is a stylized version of the Steenwijk arms. It took Mr. Bontekoe, the municipal council, the High Council of Nobility, the Council of State (Raad van State), and Home Minister Wiegel over 6 years to design, approve, disapprove, etc, that Coat of Arms - Ralf Hartemink has written juicily about it and about dear old St. Clemens, who was thrown in the water with an anchor and miraculously reappeared with the anchor floating upsidedown.

Stichting Watersportcentrum 'Vlietland'

[Stichting Watersportcentrum 'Vlietland'] image by Peter Hans van den Muijzenberg, 30 May 2023

Stichting Watersportcentrum 'Vlietland' (Foundation Water-sports Centre "Vlietland"), is a water-sports association on the land-side of Maassluis. They started in 1962 and have basically over the years built themselves a 100 berth marina.

Their webmaster as a bonus for a small service, provided us with an image of the S.W.Vlietland burgee. It's an orange burgee, with along the hoist the Maassluis flag, and below it hoist-wise "S.W.Vlietland" (wtq), in white capitals. In the fly is a white water lily with blue details around it.
