It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a field quartered of green and white.

The arms are Vert a three-arch aqueduct Argent Masoned Sable. in chief three rail profiles Argent, in base two olive branches Or fruited Sable set per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "CAMPOLIDE - LISBOA".
Meaning:
The aqueduct shown is the same as the one in the Amadora municipal arms, also designed by heraldist João Béard Guedes. The three rails stand for the local railway junction, where the Sintra and Lisboa Belt lines cross (three because once the SW portion of the latter line was classified as a separate branch line).

The Commune Administration uses also a logo-lettering whereon the aqueduct also shows at the official website and on an official vehicle, also emblazoned with the coat of arms: and (door). Note the former showing grey aqueduct and crown, but and white rails, while all are "Argent"; the scroll is atypically grey, too. Yet another logo, also featuring the aqueduct, is still in local use. None of these logos is used on flags, as far as I know. There also a photo showing communal, national, and municipal flags at the Admin. HQ . At the same location the coat of arms as sidewalk cobblestone mosaic.

Presentation of Campolide

was one of the 53 pre-2012 communes of Lisboa Municipality. It had 15 928 inhabitants in 2011 and coverED 2,79 km².

The famous Free Waters Aqueduct (Aqueduto das Águas Livres), which brings water from Sintra hills to Lisbon, stretching some 30 km through these three municipalities, was finished in the 1770ies and includes the largest masonry only arch ever built: This is located in the Campolide commune — local coat of arms displays the aqueduct (like others along its way).
