Shield Or with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base a bridge Sable, masoned Argent and having one arch, in chief a basket Sable, filled with grapevines Purpure leaved Vert at dexter, and a bunch of seven wheat ears Vert tied Argent at sinister. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "FREGUESIA DE PAREDES".
Meaning:
The basket with grapevines is representing viticulture and basketry. The bridge is representing the local heritage. The number of wheat ears is representing the former communes, which merged in 2013. The base wavy is representing Sousa River.

The arms are Or a wheat sheaf Vert tied Gules between four crossbows Purpure strung and garnished Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "BESTEIROS - PAREDES".
Meaning:
"Besteiros" means "crossbow archers" and therefore these arms are partly canting.

Shield Azure, two baskets Or set in fess, in chief a Marian crown Or, in base three wheat ears Or leaved of the same and tied Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "BITARÃES".
Meaning:
The crown is representing Our Lady of Chãos, whose chapel had been erected in the 18th century, and whose pilgrimage is celebrated in the commune every year on 8 September. The baskets are alluding to the local viticulture. The wheat ears are representing agriculture as economic base of the commune.

Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, issuant from base a throughout bridge Sable, masoned Argent with one arch., two timbrels Argent with bells Azure set in fess, in chief an orb Azure fixed Argent, Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "CASTELÕES DE CEPEDA".
Meaning:
The orb is an attribute of Jesus Christ, being the local patron saint as the Divine Saviour. The timbrels are representing local culture, tradition and social life. The bridge is symbolizing the local heritage and is especially representing the old Roman bridge of Cepeda. The base wavy is symbolizing Sousa River.
