Varuna Marine Club was founded in April 1957 in Pattaya. On 26 April 1965 (or 2508 according to the Thai calendar), King Bhumiphol Adulyadey bestowed Royal Patronage on the yacht club, whose name was changed to Royal Varuna Yacht Club..
The burgee of the yacht club is dark blue with a yellow symbol made of two elements. The upper element is the kind of inverted question mark which appears on several Thai flags. I suppose it is associated with the King.

For the Royal Varuna Yacht Club, a question was posed by Ivan Sache on 27 Jun 2002 about the second element of the club symbol. The "inverted question mark" is called an "ohm" and it is indeed related to Thai royalty. This symbol was used in the personal emblem of King Rama 9 until his passing in 2016. As for the first element, it looks like a Carrick Bend knot, but I am not 100% certain (unless the top part of the bend is replaced by "ohm").
