there are projects of flag and coat of arms of Simpheropol - the
capital of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in Ukraina. The flag
of Crimea is the same without the yellow triangle.
Unofficial symbology of the triangle:
- honey;
- natural wealths of Crimea;
- centre of the peninsula;
- Russian - Ukrainian - Crimean Tatars.

Inscription in Russian is Gorod Pol'zy (Город
Пользы - City of Profit). Name of this city
"Simferopol`" derives from greek name Sympheropolis,
based words symphero (collect together) and polis
(town, city).

Heraldry: "It was confirmed in December, 14th, 2006 by
the decision #138 of city council session. Per fess by argent
abaised wavy barrulet on azure and gules. Or bee; or scythian
bowl.".

Heraldry: "It appeared in the 3d century B.C. as a
Scythian town - Neapol'. Since the XVII century it was a Tartars
settlement Ak-Mechet'. After joining Russian Empire the town has
got the name of Simferopol'."
