The flag is divided blue-red by a white ascending wavy
diagonal. A yellow goose with a red beak and spread wings is
placed over the two fields.

"Shield per bend sinister wavy on azure and gules. In the
center is the or goose. Azure is the symbol of greatness and
beauty of this land, or means courage and bravery. Sinicter is a
symbol of small Husynka river. The goose is a symbol of the
village name."

"It was found in 1682. The first name is Hysynets', by
the name of the river on which the settlement was built. On its
coast liked to have a rest the wild geese.
Since 1762 here frequently lived famous Ukrainian philosopher,
poet, musician and educator Grygoriy Savych Skovoroda."

The village appears as Hysynka at the English version of Ukrainian Heraldry website.
Correct name of this village is HUSYNKA. The bird in the flag is
"the goose", "hus, husak" - in Ukrainian.
Authors of the site made mistake. In Ukrainian version of this
page the inscription is correct.
