Description of the Flag

A white flag, bearing an outline map of the county in northwestern Utah, shown a partial outline of the Great Salt Lake colored blue, an impression of a streetscape on the northeast shore of the lake, and a large golden spike aimed at the same spot. Curved around the west and north of the map are the words BOX ELDER COUNTY, and below them in smaller letters STATE OF UTAH and the date 1858.

Zaqistan - micronation

According to http://www.zaqart.com/zaqistan/facts.shtml, Zaqistan's flag is a gold giant squid on a field of red. If we apply the seal's symbolism onto the flag, the squid represents "the mystery and the might of Zaqistan". It is also the micronation's national animal. At Mount Insurmountable, Landsberg planted a flag on its peak when he first arrived at the land in 2005. No flag is specified, but there does exist the chance the micronation's flag existed before it even declared independence.

Some background: Zaqistan is a micronation established on November 19, 2005 by Zaq Landsberg. It is in a very remote part of the Utah desert. As for tourist attractions there are: the (inoperative) port of entry post, a robot monument dedicated to the nation's tenth year of independence, the "Victory Arch", robot monuments named the "Guardians of Zaqistan", as well as the desert landscape and Mount Insurmountable. As expected, because of the nation's harsh climate, the population is zero.
