Shield parted per pale, at dexter Azure, very light, a cross fleury Or, at sinister Or a billy-goat Sable passant on the peaks of an impending quadruplemount Vert, chief Or three girders Vert in bend sinister ordered per fess.
Meaning:
The cross is taken from the 1967 version of the arms of Laugna. It is alluding to the Convent of the Holy Cross in Augsburg, which acquired local estates since 1337. The fleur-de-lis are taken from the family arms of the Fugger kin. The family acquired the Lordship of Bocksberg-Laugna in 1613 and took their seat in the local castle. The billy-goat (German: Bock) is taken from the arms of the former municipality of Bocksberg and had also been part of the canting arms of the Barons of Bocksberg, who lived in the village between 1254 and 1321. The base is referring to the former municipality of Osterbuch, ancestral seat of the Lords of Buch. The girders are taken from their family arms and are considered to be trunks of beeches (German: Buchen).
